7's Day: Celebrating the Mazda RX-7
Rotary Revolution: Ringwood Celebrates 7s Day
On July 7th, it wasn't just your average Sunday. Car enthusiasts from all corners gathered for 7s Day, a national day that celebrates the iconic Mazda RX-7.
The Mazda RX-7, first introduced in 1978, wasn't your typical sports car. It boasted a revolutionary rotary engine, a marvel of engineering that was both lightweight and high-revving, offering a truly unique driving experience. This, coupled with its sleek design and sharp handling, cemented the RX-7's place in automotive history.
Ringwood Mazda was thrilled to host this annual celebration, bringing together a passionate group for a day of shared love for the RX-7. A display of these remarkable vehicles took centre stage, with attendees marveling at the evolution of the RX-7 across its generations.
But 7’s Day wasn't just about cars. It was also about giving back to the community. The event proudly raised funds for the Eastern Health Foundation, a worthy cause supporting healthcare in the Eastern Suburbs. Additionally, proceeds from the delicious 4TK (For the Kids) Food Truck went towards helping underprivileged youth.
Thank you to Ben Wong, a RX-7 enthusiast, and Euan Murphy, Ringwood Mazda Service Manager, whose collaborative efforts ensured the resounding success of 7’s Day.
So, if you were one of the many who joined us for this celebration, we hope you had a fantastic time.
