Ringwood Mazda Backs Emma-Rose’s Mountain to Melbourne Challenge to Ease Hospital Anxiety for Kids
Ringwood Mazda is proud to support Emma-Rose, a true local legend, as she takes on the incredible Mountain to Melbourne challenge. Covering more than 100 km and passing through The Angliss, Maroondah, and Box Hill Hospitals before finishing at Town Square in Eastland, her journey aims to raise awareness and crucial funds to help reduce hospital anxiety for children, particularly those who are neurodivergent.
Emma-Rose’s passion for this cause comes from firsthand experience of the difficulties children face in medical environments. Her mission is to fund vital tools and resources that make hospital visits less daunting, ensuring every child feels safe and supported. "Hospitals can be overwhelming and scary for kids," says Emma-Rose. "My goal is to help create a more comforting and supportive environment for them during medical procedures."
Ringwood Mazda is dedicated to supporting initiatives that make a meaningful difference in the community, especially for children in vulnerable situations. As part of this sponsorship, the dealership is providing key support throughout Emma-Rose’s challenge. Dealer Principal, Darren Paull will join Emma-Rose for the final stretch at Eastland, encouraging her to the finish line.
"Emma-Rose is taking on an incredibly tough challenge, yet she remains so bubbly and motivated every step of the way," says Darren Paull. "Her dedication to helping children feel safe and at ease in hospitals is truly inspiring.”
The Eastland finish line will mark not only the completion of an extraordinary journey but also a chance for the community to come together in support. Ringwood Mazda invites everyone to be there on the 28th of March to cheer Emma-Rose on and show solidarity for children facing hospital challenges.
